Kent Chickens

Welcome to Kent Chickens:
We fell in love with chickens when we first got our girls and as we were novices at the time we knew very little and bought the first chickens we found. Our first chickens were hybrids and the girls did us proud with a regular supply of eggs some fun moments in watching them in the garden.
As time went on we wanted something different, that could also meet our needs as a productive bird that would be good as a pet for the family. So we started to look at the different breeds, particularly the pure breeds due to there stunning appearances there rarity and the fact that they give a good supply of eggs but are also very friendly with large personalities so make great productive pets for the family.
However we found it difficult to get the breeds that we wanted so we decide to hatch our own and from this Kent Chickens was born.
We currently hatch about 30 to 40 hens a month and all our hens are given individual attention from the moment they hatch. We are happy to take pre-orders and can send you updates of your hens progress or follow them on Facebook until they are ready to go to their new homes.

We offer ongoing advice and love to hear out the girls are doing.
